I love this infographic from the folks at Design911.com as it sums up succinctly what I have been saying for a while. We are losing over 1.2m people on our worlds roads and it has reached epidemic proportions. In fact, auto accidents are the leading killer of youth age 10-19 according to the World Health Organization. This tech has the potential to eliminate these needless deaths, make our pedestrians and cyclists safe, make public transit more efficient, and virtually eliminate the need for wasteful parking.
